தமிழ்மொழி மற்றும் இலக்கியத்திற்காக எமது தமிழ்மொழி மற்றும் இலக்கிய பன்னாட்டு ஆய்விதழ் (IJTLLS) தம் இலக்கிய மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி அரும்பணியைச் செய்து வருகின்றது. "தமிழ் இலக்கியங்களில் பெண்ணிய கட்டமைப்பும் கட்டுடைப்பும்" என்ற பொருண்மையில் கருத்தரங்கம் நடத்தி அதை எமது ஆய்விதழ் வாயிலாக வெளிக்கொணர ஒப்புதல் அளித்த தூய யோவான் கல்லூரி, கல்லூரி நிர்வாகம், கல்லூரி முதல்வர், தமிழ்த்துறைத்தலைவர், தமிழ்த்துறைப் பேராசிரியர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் நன்றி. இப்பன்னாட்டு கருத்தரங்கத்தின் ஓர் அங்கமாக தமிழ்மொழி மற்றும் இலக்கிய பன்னாட்டு ஆய்விதழ் (IJTLLS) செம்மையாய் செயல்பட்டு ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகளை இணையத்தில் பதிப்பு செய்து உள்ளது. எதிர்காலத்தில் தமிழ் ஆராய்ச்சிகளை உலக அரங்கத்திற்கு எடுத்துச் செல்ல ஓர் ஆய்வுக்களமாக எமது இதழ் செயல்பட்டு வருகிறது. அதற்கு தமது உறுதுணை அளித்த அனைவருக்கும் நன்றி. பன்னாட்டு கருத்தரங்கில் தமது ஆய்வைச் செம்மை நிறுத்தி பெண்ணியம், தமிழ்மொழியில் பெண்ணியம், தமிழர் நாகரிகத்தில் பெண்ணியம், தமிழர் பண்பாடு மற்றும் கலாச்சாரத்தில் பெண்ணியம் போன்ற பொருண்மையில் தரவுகளைக் கட்டுரைகளாக வழங்கி சிறப்பித்த தமிழ்ப் பேராசிரியர்கள், ஏனைய அனைத்து துறைப் பேராசிரியர்கள், எழுத்தாளர்கள், தமிழ் ஆர்வலர்கள் மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி மாணவர்களை மனதாரப் பாராட்டுகிறோம். பன்னாட்டுக் கருத்தரங்கில் தமது ஆய்வை செம்மை நிறுத்தி திருக்குறள் வழி தமிழ்மொழி தமிழர் நாகரிகம் தமிழர் பண்பாடு மற்றும் கலாச்சாரம் போன்ற பொருண்மையில் கிடைத்த தரவுகளைக் கட்டுரைகளாக வழங்கி சிறப்பித்த தமிழ் பேராசிரியர்கள் ஏனைய அனைத்து துறைப் பேராசிரியர்கள் எழுத்தாளர்கள், தமிழ் ஆர்வலர்கள் மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி மாணவர்களை மனதார பாராட்டுகிறோம்.

In Tamil Literature, Silappathikaram has been the portrayal of such archetypal woman Kannagi and other minor individualistic women characters. It reflects the state of women and the vindicaton of women’s rights. Thus, the paper studies on the women perspectives in "Silappathikaram".

Women live a segregated, oppressed and subjugated life down the ages. Women dedicates her life and suppresson her wishes for the sake of others. Women apart for from caring the family and nurturing the children contribute a great role to the development of the society. The contemporary women are example to this. There are very optimistic values of life enunciated in the Holy “Koran” by the Holy Prophet Muhammed. ‘Itthah’ is a practice among the Muslims to know or to claim the chastity of women under the cuircumstances of ‘Talak’, ‘Divorce’ or at the death of the husband. It basically prove the chaste state of women and the perseverance and loyalty of the woman are estimated by it. This article probes some of the facts of ‘Itthah’ from the Holy “Koran”.

Feministic Perspective of Inqulab’s Drama Avvai

In this article, the scholar mainly focused on the play ‘Avvai’ written by Inqulab. She elucidates how the dramatist successfully portrays the character of ‘Avvai’ in the play. ‘Avvai’ is depicted as a young, revolutionary lady. Seeking freedom from social oppression and representing the voice of women, she refuses to be oppressed by men and rejects male Chauvinism. Hence, it is a feminist perspective of the chosen novel.

In this article, the scholar mainly focused on the poetic collection written by Aandal Priyadharshini in the Title “Suyam Pesun Kili”. There are many writers in Tamil Literature who used to write poems on women. Language has been medium for men to dominate and a tool to subjugate women has been broken by the emergence of many women writers. One such writer is Aandal Priyadharshini. She had written many poetic volumes as a voice of universal women. Hence, her poetic volume “Suyam Pesum Kili” speaks of the women renaissance and the thoughts on women rights.

Prince Bhisma responsible for her misfortune and her soul goal in life becomes his destruction to fulfill which she is reborn as Shikandi. Amba was reborn as Shikhandi whose true gender was not disclosed and was brought up as a boy. God granted the boon to Amba that she would be the cause of Bhisma’s death in the Mahabharatha and gave her a garland to be worn by a worthy worrier who would bring an end to Bhisma death even if she has to take multiple rebirth.

The ideas of the codes and the ehics are shown with natural vigor that the people of the novel seem very real and the codes they lefy by their immoral attitudes are also portrayed efficiently in the nove.
